Near-Net-Shape technology and its application to subsea (English)

This is a video introducing the NNS+HIP technology that Shimoda Flange and Metal Technology are jointly developing. This NNS+HIP technology has various advantages over forged products, such as reducing the amount, weight, and cost of raw materials used, shortening the manufacturing period, and achieving a uniform structure. The second half of this video explains how it is possible to achieve superior corrosion resistance and strength compared to conventional subsea equipment in the oil and gas sector, and explaining how it is sustainable.
